Introduction to the A.E.S.O.R.

Today, the AESOR consists of Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Canada and Finland.
The chairmanship of the AESOR is held for two years by each nation and works with a Central Committee and agencies.
During its mandate, the country in charge of the chairmanship must organize:
  • The first year, a prestige Conference, open to members of each national association in order to encourage friendly meetings and a better knowledge of reserve NCO’s of the other countries;
  • The second year, military Days which are military and sportive events played by teams of three competitors who perform the seven following tests:
    • Orienteering course;
    • Cross–country course;
    • Hand grenade range;
    • Pool obstacle course;
    • Zodiac navigation course;
    • Land obstacle course;
    • Precision shoot/Sprint biathlon course
After Austria, Italy will assume the chairmanship in 2008 and will organize the Military Days in 2009.
